Mohit Suri’s 2014 director “Ek Villain” made a lot of noise when released and is still popular for his songs. However, did you know who was the first choice for Ek Villan?
Before locking Sidharth Malhotra for the role, the creators offered the role to none other than Arjun Kapoor.
The makers of the film wanted to cast Arjun because he had made some sort of gray character in his previous film Aurangzeb.
The film did not perform well at the box office but Arjun was highly appreciated for his performance.
However, Arjun was not keen on being a part of the movie as he didn’t want to second fiddle to Riteish Deshmukh, who had the attention-grabbing role. He was of the opinion that Riteish would come away with the best scenes in the film, and then later the film was offered to Sidharth.
