The untimely disappearance of Sushant Singh Rajput has created unrest among the public on social media and in the film industry.
The blame and hate games, mainstream media and press houses have been removed to be insensitive to the deceased as well as his family and friends.
In a five-page note on Wednesday, the 29-year-old actress criticized the speculation, the blame game and the trolling that started building up after Rajput was found dead in his apartment in Bandra on Sunday.
Sanon stressed that people should stop talking badly and chatting about others while everyone is fighting their own battle. While most manage to ignore or filter out negativity, in her article, she said that she always unconsciously affects some more than others.
This comes after excessive media coverage and the intrusion of photographers at his funeral. This really upset actress and her close friend, Kriti Sanon. She was first called for not posting anything on her social media to mourn the death of Sushant. Later, during her funeral, she grew cameras on her face, asking him for a comment. Kriti took advantage of his social media today to share all his thoughts on the subject and lambasted how, as actors, they are not treated as human beings with emotions.
She went on to explain how there should be rules in journalism and that blind articles should be banned because such gossip and frivolous speculation spreads quickly and deeply affects some people. She says that the toxic idea of ”Ladke nahi rote”, “Be a man” must also stop and that everyone should take care of their emotions and ask for help if something is bothering them. It seems to suggest that these toxic patterns may have been what prompted Sushant to make the decision he made.
This is something that everyone should ponder on. Sending lots of love and light to you, Kriti!
